Welcome Parents and Families of the Class of 2012!
I am taking this opportunity to invite you to share some of the excitement of your son’s or daughter’s first year at Vassar College. Freshmen Parents Weekend will take place on September 27th and 28th this year. I hope that you will be able to join us on those days.
Freshmen Parents Weekend focuses on the experiences of first-year-students. We hope that you will learn a good deal about the college and its programs during your visit.
I have included a tentative schedule for the weekend. We have tried to strike a balance between events scheduled especially for you and free time in which to enjoy the usual life of a fall weekend on the campus with your sons and daughters.
Please complete the registration form by September 17, 2008. During the week preceding Freshmen Parents Weekend, we will send a final copy of the weekend schedule to your son or daughter. (For your convenience, there will be additional copies at the first event on Saturday.) Please feel free to call my office with any questions regarding the weekend, (845) 437-5258.
